Location
Venture into Cornwall and visit the Eden Project, Land's End or why not try a walk on Dartmoor or diving off The Scylla (5 mins away). Plymouth and the historic Barbican are only a short drive away.
A 10 minute walk takes you to 5 miles of golden sand that is Whitsand Bay.
From the A38 westbound:
On reaching Plymouth, head for the Torpoint Ferry. Torpoint ferries run continuously which is a seven minute ride. No toll to pay (into Cornwall).
On Leaving the ferry at Torpoint keep with the traffic on the main road for approximately three miles until you reach a fork in the road at Antony (first village).
Take the left fork marked 'Millbrook' (B3247) and continue on this road for approximately miles until you meet a main 'T' junction.
Turn left at the 'T' junction and travel for about quarter of a mile, where you see a sign post marked 'Whitsand Bay', turn right and take the coast road overlooking the bay, continue along it for two miles until a gradient is reached. A few yards past the top of the hill on your left is Donkey Lane with the sign 'Whitsand Bay Holiday Park', turn left and next left again, this road leads to the Reception.
Or from the Tamar Bridge crossing into Cornwall: Carry on to Trerulefoot roundabout, turn left and follow signs to Millbrook until you pick up the sign to 'Whitsand Bay' as above.
