Milton and Sarah are committed to assuring the comfort of their guests to the best of their ability. Therefore this ‘access statement’ will help guests be informed with regards to their comfort when arriving at lodge 24.
PARKING – there is one allotted parking space at the reception area on the site, a second space can be purchased for £1 per day. All arrivals need to check in with reception in order to register their car.
ENTRANCE – there is a security gate to the lodges with code provided on arrival. A sloped gravel pathway leads down to lodge 24. Four decked steps lead up to decked area and the front door; 2” threshold onto vinyl flooring with mat. Storage cupboard:
STORAGE CUPBOARD – contains iron, ironing board, Hoover, spare chairs, umbrella, football, picnic basket, drying racks, cleaning equipment, body board and rock pooling net.
Gripper strip onto carpeted area and left into lounge/diner area.
LOUNGE/DINER – this has a table and six dining chairs, a bookcase containing; books, games, jigsaws and some CDs/DVDs. There is a leather sofa, two chairs and a bean bag, coffee table, flat screen TV and an electric coal effect fire, two double doors with 2” thresholds lead onto the decked area.
DECKED AREA – this has a table, four chairs (two more to be found in the storage cupboard), sun shade and sunken hot tub with cover.
From the lounge/diner there is a gripper strip onto the vinyl floor of the kitchen.
KITCHEN – this contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, etc: the gas central heating boiler and a carbon monoxide alarm.
From the lounge/diner; back to the lobby area and left into the family bathroom.
FAMILY BATHROOM – this has a tiled floor and walls, a large bath with overhead electric shower and shower screen, basin and low level WC.
From the bathroom turn right towards the bedrooms (all bedrooms contain bedside lights, drawers, wardrobe space, linen and towels) – smoke alarm on ceiling and thermostat (to control the temperature of the lodge) on wall outside the master bedroom.
MASTER BED ROOM - double bed and ensuite shower room with plumbed shower, basin and low level WC. Spare pillows etc. and a hairdryer can be found in the wardrobe.
